We were just chatting on FaceTime.

I was grating cheese—nothing fancy, just getting some prep done.

Ace, ever the observant grandson, saw what I was up to and immediately disappeared from the screen. A few seconds later, he returned… proudly holding up an entire block of marble cheddar. No words. Just vibes.

Of course, showing it wasn’t enough. He had to bite it.

No cutting, no prep—just straight-up joy and cheese-to-face commitment.

Moments like these are why I started Mini Muse & Me. Ace is my muse, my giggle source, and my tiny reminder to live in the moment (and maybe keep the cheese well hidden).

Scroll down for the full cheese-fueled sequence—it’s worth it.

A 3 year old black boy in red & white stripped pyjamas gazes down cheekily at a Costco-sized brick of marbled cheese that he is holding with both hands in front of him. He is sat on the edge of a grey sofa with the view of a kitchen in the background.
