💫 About Ace – My Mini Muse
Ace is a young king who knows his mind and is learning to speak it. He loves to collect stones on walks. When hes no deconstructing his toy room, he’s an organizer – finding patterns and lining things up with remarkable precision! He climbs anything he can, catches bubbles like a pro, and makes art like his Amma. He wears his heart on his sleeve, his smile on his face, and has the most irresistible sense of humour.

He takes his “homework” seriously, has an insatiable appetite for noodles, and he loves to call me to share the minutae of his day – an ice cream treat, a new book from the library, or his latest thrifted toy. Despite the distance, we have a bond that’s stitched tighter than any scarf I’ve ever knit. We share snacks over FaceTime, and I don’t care if he’s 30 — if I offer him a bite through the phone, he’d better pretend it’s delicious.
Ace is my favourite human. He inspires me to be the best version of myself, for me and my Mini Muse.
✨ About Amma (That’s Me)
I’m Amma — maker, dreamer, knitter, artist, and the lucky grandmother of a little boy named Ace, my Mini Muse. I’m someone who finds joy in handmade things, from loops of yarn to brushstrokes on paper. Creativity has always been my way of making sense of the world — and sharing a piece of myself in the process. I’m an academic realist with a creative core. Sleep? Optional. Vision? Non-negotiable.
This site is my cozy corner for sharing what I make, what I learn, and the love I carry for my grandson, who inspires me to stay curious, kind, and remember to be a little silly too. Whether I’m chasing ideas, deadlines, or FaceTime “cheers” with Ace, you’ll find the threads of that joy stitched into everything here.
