There’s something so special about the simple moments — and this one had me smiling for hours.

Ace was helping his dad build a new patio set, and let me tell you, he was thrilled to be part of it. Whether he was handing tools over or just peeling the plastic off new pieces, he approached every little task like it was mission critical. You could see the pride radiating from him with every “job well done.”

And in true Ace fashion, he came fully prepared. He doesn’t love the sound of the power drill (who does, really?), so he rocked his ear protection the entire time — because PPE starts young! 👷‍♂️🛠️

These are the kinds of memories that stay with you. Not because they’re flashy or big, but because they’re full of care, curiosity, and connection. Watching him work beside his dad, so focused and joyful, just filled my heart right up.
